Abstract We perform the maximal twist of eleven-dimensional supergravity. This is partially topological and exists on manifolds $$G_2 \times SU(2)$$ G 2 × S U ( ) holonomy. Our derivation starts with an explicit description Batalin–Vilkovisky complex associated to three-form multiplet in pure spinor superfield formalism. then determine $$L_\infty $$ L ∞ module structure supersymmetry algebra component fields. theory by modifying differential incorporate action a scalar supercharge. find that resulting free twisted given tensor product de Rham Dolbeault complexes respective $$G_2$$ SU (2) holonomy as conjectured Costello.

The mathematical key tools in our discussion are the Englert solution and the chirotope concept.
